The Icon Pilipinas community continues to grow and we’re really excited about all the progress made in August. Let’s get right to it!

Featured AMAs
CoinKeeper World AMA
On August 15, the Icon Pilipinas team was featured on a live AMA with CoinKeeper World.
CoinKeeper World has a relatively large following on Telegram, and they run multiple chats/channels, so as always, our team was very happy to get out there and promote ICON to a whole new audience.

Although the AMA with CoinKeeper World was a one day event, we’re pleased to report that Icon Pilipinas has teamed up with them to drive further ICON growth, by also introducing follow-up events, such as a raffle.
An additional featured ICON article was published on the Go to the Moon website, which can be found here.
Further, CoinKeeper World helped us design a sticker set, for use on Telegram.

These stickers are a fun way to share ICON with not only the Icon Pilipinas community, but with anyone on Telegram.
Crypto Bharat AMA
Next up, Icon Pilipinas took part in an AMA on August 29 with Crypto Bharat, a leading cryptocurrency community from India.
Prior to the event, the Icon Pilipinas community already had many members and friends from India, so we were very delighted that we had the opportunity to further promote ICON in this region of the world, which is home to many blockchain enthusiasts.
We received some very positive feedback from the Crypto Bharat community, upon conclusion of the AMA.
Moving forward from here, our team remains very committed to doing more AMAs, as these events provide an excellent way for us to onboard more ICONists and continue expanding the Icon Pilipinas Telegram community.
Featured Events
The Road to 3,333 Promotion
Similar to last month, in addition to the AMA events highlighted above, Icon Pilipinas also made strong efforts to grow our Telegram chat during the month of August.
We held a promotional event called “The Road to 3,333” to help us achieve a milestone of 3,333 members.
This event took longer than originally anticipated, but with enough time and effort, we were ultimately able to achieve our goal before the end of August.

ICON GIF Wars!
During the middle part of the month, Icon Pilipinas launched our first ICON GIF Wars! event.
The initial prize pool was 100 ICX.
However, not too long after ICON GIF Wars! got off the ground, we realized that we would need to beef up the prize pool a bit, since we were receiving so many excellent entries from the Icon Pilipinas community.
The ante was increased to 500 ICX.
In total, there were 50 participants + 132 qualified entries (232 total GIF submissions)!

ICON GIF Wars! was arguably our most successful community event so far!
ICON KABOG!
Our team continues to host ICON KABOG!, featuring our quiz master miss Charlotte, twice per week (Friday and Saturday night), on our Telegram chat.
ICON KABOG! has become a featured event and core staple for the Icon Pilipinas community, doing wonders in helping to build camaraderie and boost engagement from active users on Telegram.
ICX News Ngayon Quiz Time
Similar to ICON KABOG!, our team is also finding success with ICX News Ngayon Quiz Time, which is hosted weekly (every Saturday) on our Facebook page.
Each week, there is a quiz (5 multiple choice questions) on the latest episode of ICX News Ngayon, and a reward of 100 PHP via load (or ICX tokens) is rewarded to the first 5 community members who are able to answer all questions correctly.
Boosting engagement on Facebook is very important to our long-term goals on this social media platform, and ICX News Ngayon Quiz Time is proving to be an important piece in helping us to solve that challenging puzzle.

Telegram Growth
There are currently 3,538 members on the Icon Pilipinas Telegram chat, which increased from 2,696, previously.
Facebook Growth
At the conclusion of August, the Icon Pilipinas Facebook page has achieved 57,096 likes and 57,224 total follows (up from 56,814 likes and 56,927 total follows, previously).
Facebook Marketing Ads
In August, we were able to achieve a post reach of 828,609 and total impressions of 1,091,217 on Facebook.

YouTube Growth
The Icon Pilipinas YouTube channel now has 1,055 subscribers (up from 917, previously).

In total, 8 new YouTube videos were published by our team in August:

Twitter Growth
On Twitter, Icon Pilipinas experienced sharp growth this month, as our followers have increased to 2,408 (up from 1,288, previously).

Instagram Growth
We currently have 117 followers on Instagram (up from 103, previously).
Similar to the last few months, not much needs to be said for our progress on Instagram at this time. Quite frankly, until we can go back outside to take regular photos, Icon Pilipinas will not prioritize growing our Instagram page.
Instagram growth remains more of a long-term plan for us at Icon Pilipinas.
Spending
Icon Pilipinas was very fortunate to have our Grant Application approved by ICON Foundation, which continued to help us TREMENDOUSLY with our budget/spending in August.
Again, many thanks to ICON Foundation for all their support, because without their help and support, none of what we achieved would have been possible!
Also, many thanks to our voters who continue to support us through the ups and downs! Your loyalty means more to us than you know!
Total monthly expenses in August included the following:
- Marketing ads = 26,915 (~556 USD)
- Events and community tips = 72,563 PHP (~1,498 USD)
- Software and plugins = 4,999 PHP (~103 USD)
- Node and infrastructure support = 12,217 PHP (~252 USD)
For a subtotal of: 2,409 USD
Salaries paid out in August included the following:
- Contractor services = 30,999 PHP (~634 USD)
- Core-team total staff wages = 45,181 PHP (~930 USD)
For a subtotal of: 1,564 USD
With all that being said, our team is long ICX tokens (we truly do believe in ICON), and we try our best not to sell any of our own personal holdings on exchanges/market, as much as possible. Outside of selling ICX tokens to pay for necessary services and staff salaries, any remaining rewards accrued (i.e., income earned via ICX tokens) were staked.
P-Rep Ranking
At the conclusion of August, Icon Pilipinas was ranked #25 among global P-Reps on the ICON network.
At month’s end, Icon Pilipinas had racked up 3,077,954 votes (a decrease from 3,163,478 votes, previously).
Granted, 1,000,000 of our votes in August came courtesy of ICON Foundation, via grant approval, which we are again most humbled and grateful to have received.
We sincerely hope that after reporting this month’s transparency report, ICONists will agree that we’ve been a very productive P-Rep team that is well-deserving of all votes we’ve received to date.
Icon Pilipinas is most passionate about ICON (this is the ONLY blockchain project we focus on!) and we are dedicated to working as hard as we possibly can to help accelerate growth and mainstream adoption.
